somehow this line makes the whole poem sound so sad....almost like the sister is shaking her brother to be alive.....wonder did you have that emotion in mind ??

from the kid's perspective...she does not unnrstnd!
wish I could say....wonderful, great!!!....but the poem makes me feel so sad and helpless...any betrayal is acceptable except of a child's faith !! ...yeah the words touch...
