Dead Conversations

Did you miss yourself ever
when you looked into
some eyes?

It happens.

Sometimes a droplet
is all it takes
to bring the dam down.

If only I knew!
If only I knew!

Words don't stay put in the air,
forever.
But yes, eyes deceive us
they show us marks which refuse to leave

I stand deceived too!

I believe often,
that I can go back-
to times with a better 'us'
or to times without an 'us'

Conversations die
when they find a face.

Should I add more to the grave
in a vain attempt
to bring them alive?
Or do I live on
with the dead?

If only I knew!
If only I knew!

If only I knew what!
If only I knew why!

If only!

Dear anonymous,

Please respect the poem and the poet for what they are worth...if you have any such personal comments please do so in private.

Dear poet,

why should you give u give up on conversations by declaring them dead before they actually are?

i think every relationship deserves a sincere "attempt" at revivign whatever is left

Anon-1,
All in good humor, I suppose!
I would have loved it if you could tell me what you felt about the piece!

Anon-2,
Sometimes it is kinda tough to decide whether conversations are dead or not... precisely the indecisiveness... where the person ain't sure... It is over or there is still a chance!
Thanks!

Keep smiling!

The work is wonderful like your all others, yet u feel the composition only if some way u relate to the poem or the poet;hence the comment was also about the piece.
