Continuing with the moon obsession

it
crawls
slowly
tentatively
each night

the moon spider

it
treads
the same path
across my sky ceiling
each night

i watch
in anticipation

one of these nights
i am sure
it will
suddenly gobble up -
one of the stars
caught in its web
of moon-light gossamer
